Post Production Secrets at Doc NYC

Post-Production Secrets.jpg

It always great to sit on a panel with other amazing composers. Doc NYC holds an amazing festival every year and this year they focused on a day of post production. I sat on the panel with composers Troy Herion (306 Hollywood) and Jonathan Kirkscey (Won’t You Be My Neighbor?). We discussed building themes for characters and “how observations of both image and sound recorded during production can inform the perfect score for your film.” The panel was moderated by composer Nathan Halpern (Minding The Gap). Overall, it was a wonderful day.
